So my friend convinced me to come back and based off of the date of the eggs still in my keep, I haven't been on in nearly 4 years now

Can someone please help fill me in on what's new?

Any help would be nice. Thanks!

• Some things that happened within the last few years (I guess?)
• Donation pets are breedable for 3 shards each (must own both parents, and all donis are 3 shards regardless of original cost or date available)
• The Black Market is a new shop that you can access after completing a quest (one-time thing) and often has rare/limited older creatures as well as new ones unavailable elsewhere. The Black Market isn't open all the time, and the stock rotates.
• Black Market also has had Breeding Cooldown Potions and Gender Change Potions in the past, which are mostly obtainable from trading in donec hatchlings.
• Breeding Restoration Potions were recently available from the Solstice Event Shop and can restore breedings to creatures that can only breed a limited amount of times, such as Arkai and Tinsel Wyrms.
• Fine Tuning Glass is another recent solstice event item, when used on a frozen hatchling below or at 5% will randomly change the percentage from 0% to 2%. Cannot be used on unfrozen hatchlings or hatchlings above 5%. It's a decent way to get things that are somewhat high percentage down to below 1% but can take hundreds of tries to get anything at exactly 0.00% so not worth trying for those unless you have a lot of extra gold and the glass is in the shop at the moment so you can restock later.
• Think Chocolates are new-ish, they were in a few events and when used will give a creature a small random percentage boost.
• There were a LOT of creature releases. Check the Bestiary as it has everything other than very new releases.
• Many of these creatures could be obtained by using an item on a different egg (such as Tundra Nulorns being from using a Cookie on Nulorn eggs)
• Still no way to "Unfreeze" an egg or hatchling in your keep.
• The Black Market may also occasionally have SB hybrids (so far it has had Tevera Enoxes, White Cukurbra, and Pearlen Alvean Wasps)

Can't think of anything else right now.

No it's not, it left when the Solstice Caravan left at the end of December.
Whether or not they turn up in the bags in the Black Market remains to be seen.

To clarify about the Donec potions.
There's two quests found in Lake Lakira, turning in two male hatchlings to the first quest nets you a gender changing potion(the only thing it can't be used on are creatures with offspring or creatures that are only one gender), while turning in one female hatchling to the other gets you a breeding cooldown potion, which allows you to breed a creature again without waiting. Like most quests, the hatchlings have to be unnamed, live and unlineaged to be taken.

Also, it has been changed that for quests that take creatures/eggs that it will only take them from the main tab. So to prevent accidentally losing something to a quest all you have to do is move them to another tab.

The Spell of Cloaking and Spell of Protection are items that can be bought from 75k from Remy's Inn and Trading Post respectively. The Spell of Cloaking allows you to hide a tab(and the creatures within it) from public view as well as preventing the growth of the creatures in said tab.
Spell of Protection allows you to 'protect' a tab, the creatures in the tab are visible to the public and can be clicked on, but will not grow.

The drink Remy's Special Brew is an insta-sober drink in case you've been indulging in to much of the other drink and don't want to wait for the effects to wear off.

There are several more Societies/Guilds you can join, the Society of the Trident and Herbalist's Guild, which give you access to the Water Shop and Herbalist's Shop respectively. The Face Changer quest will allow you to leave the guild you're a part of to join another(as you can only be apart of one at a time), for a fee of 100k.

Associations are another new thing. They're like guilds, except you can join more than one at once(though currently only the Artificer's Association exists). This gives you access to a shop and the creatures in it.

We now have an Inventory system for items, a Bestiary to catalogue ALL creatures on the site (the newest ones take a bit to get updated to it).
The Alicanto Heart (originally obtained from a quest, currently found in the Artificer's Shop) gives you 5 gold for every (live) egg you click on instead of 1. Adults and hatchlings are unaffected and yield 1 gold as per usual.

Oh yeah, egg limit boost(sort of)
You can hold up to 6 live eggs as long as the last two are doni eggs (bought or bred).

So, I could grab 4 stream eggs, then go and buy two donis from the shop.
Or just, straight up buy 6 doni eggs.

You basically have to complete the quest, which requires a direwolf/direcore, a live thunderbird egg and 8000g.
