Nameday: A Royal Gift (Glitch?)
I cant seem to obtain the direwolf egg/pup. I accepted the quest when I was egglocked, and now that I have a slot for it, It wont let me obtain it.

You have to breed an albino direwolf pup for that quest I believe.

Yes, what Ayakashi said. 
That quest doesn't give you a direwolf, it's the other way around: you give the quest a direwolf and get another creature as a result.
Specifically, the quest needs an albino direwolf hatchling. It's a hybrid you can sometimes get when breeding two direwolves. There are some shops in Mercado that can help you with quests, or you could put up a LTB thread in Kancha.
