How do I go on quests?

Everyone is talking about these "quests" and they seem important, but I have no idea how to go on one. Can anyone help me?

Well, there are quests found all over the world. Which quests are you looking for exactly? I can most certainly help you out by PM if needed ^_^

Thanks for your help! I'm mostly looking for quests were I can find rarer eggs, and things like that.
