Protected groups?

I have seen in several thread posts of people saying their eggs, hatchlings, etc are in a protected group. I've got a group I don't want touched (clicked), so how do I make it so no one can? I don't mean freeze each hatchling; I've seen gray tabs and the gold tabs.

Buy the "Spell of Protection" from the Trading Post. Go to the tab you want protected, and a new button will appear next to the "sorts," "move" and "embed" buttons. New button should read "Protect tab." Click it, confirm and BOOM! Protected tab.
