Why do people freeze eggs?

Why do people freeze eggs?
Just like the title says. is it just because of preference or does it have another reason?

There are as many reasons for freezing eggs as there are players, lol.
Personally, I freeze eggs for my record holding Army of 0% frozen Ashevor eggs.. and to use as dividers. Some freeze eggs as part of 'family sets'.. 1 egg, 1 m/f pair of frozen hatchlings and 1 m/f pair of adults. Some freeze eggs at certain percentages, either as part of their collection or to sell.. and the reasons go on and on and on.

I usually only freeze eggs when I'm searching the stream for particular creatures. Take out eggs that I don't want, freeze them, and continue until I find the eggs that I do want. 
To hatchling only, please:
I have hatchlings in my Nursery Tab.
