I've a series of Albino Dire Wolves, in my main tab....
they all appear to be parentless; when you click on them, no parents show.

But!
When sorting via the mass-sort options, they all sort as having parents.
And when you go to breed them, some of them have parents listed and some have a
"Mother: "
and
"father: "
thing where the space for a listing is there, but nothing is filled in.

I suspect they might be bugged... but I didn't notice them until now. Not sure if they constitute a problem or not, but let me know if you want me to do something with them!

They could have been released?

I have a parentless Chimera like that - creature/825889 - When breeding and also when looking at him through the "embed multiple" option he's listed with having parents, though no name shows up for them.

He's from August 2009, and clicking at some of your wolves it looks like they're from around there as well. Maybe there was a small site crash back then? I was a member then but can't remember if there was a small crash, but that could explain it.


Aha! I went waaaay back on the site news forum and found that there was a crash, so that's likely why - 3-site-news/28577-explosion.html - maybe the parents were lost in the crash.

As far as I recall, the ability to get completely parentless hybrids to replace the lost bred ones was created after the big crash in 2011.

I think this Tevera Enox is from that crash..
She was part of a family, but after the crash she was dateless, parentless and familyless.. but the family name still shows. I've got a couple of others like this too, but I'm not too worried about them.
