Faster way to hatch eggs?
Aight, so I'm still pretty noob and lately all I've been doing is hanging out on the egg hatching threads, but that's still slow-ish and kind of a hassle to do. Is there some kind of faster way to get people to click on your eggs?

Twittering eggs seems to help, as does Yarold's, and there's always the IFMN (Image-Free-Magistream-Nursery).
A number of the daycare areas offer hatching services to help you out.

Re: Faster way to hatch eggs?
I've found that posting my creature's url to twitter, like this: http:// magistream. com/creature/# (without the spaces) and then posting it with the bit.ly link from the creature's page itself helps. It also seems to help if you retweet both of those tweets too. Posting in the click threads multiple times a day seems to help too (which I can't do on weekdays as much, so it's nice to see people clicking back a lot!). I've also noticed that when I click someone's eggs, I'll see that they've clicked mine as well. So clicking other's eggs just might make them return the favor.
I've noticed some creatures seem to hatch super fast, like phoenixes and the hummingbirds egg I have. I'm assuming the creatures all have different speeds that they hatch? Cause like... one of my other eggs, the dinosaur egg, took a lot longer than the phoenix egg did.

Yes, different eggs hatch at different speeds.

Oh I see! I thought it was just me lol! I'm used to playing on a different site, where every egg has a set number it needs before it hatches and they're all the same number. I like how it's different here. ^^ApprenticeCrone wrote:Yes, different eggs hatch at different speeds.

Re: Faster way to hatch eggs?
Actually there's a random element to even the same species of eggs. I forget what all we figured out, but as a complete for-instance and not-to-take-it-literally, a koi egg might get anywhere between 2% and 4% per click while an arkai egg might get anywhere between .2% and 1%.
As a random example of probably-not-accurate numbers.
So different species of eggs grow at different rates, but any individual egg also grows at a unique rate with an unpredictable number of clicks needed. It's also why we can get such collectibles as an egg that's listed at 100% but still an egg (if you see one, freeze it, it is worth more in that stage than as a hatchling).

Re: Faster way to hatch eggs?
Oh cool! I had an egg earlier that was at 99.99% and I clicked to freeze it, since I'd seen some other people selling things at that percentage. Sadly, it turned into a hatchling before I could freeze it. Figures lol!ApprenticeCrone wrote:Actually there's a random element to even the same species of eggs. I personally like to use the Egg Hatching Train, almost all creatures I post there tend to hatch within one day.
