Where can I get an ashen feather ? Is there a quest to complete to obtain this item?

If you breed two Phoenixes, you have a chance of getting one randomly.

The Ashen feathers will then appear in your inventory. But to use them, you'll have to go into the World map, to an island in the top left corner, where you'll find the Ashen Temple - world/37

In the Temple is a statue. If you have an Ashen feather in your inventory and an adult Phoenix in your main tab, then follow the statue's text.

Presently, I have 4 Ashen Feathers. However, under the Use column, the box is blank. Do these 'feathers' have a short lifespan/shelf life, so if it takes me a moment to access the Ashen Temple, I might lose the use of the feather? I have the required Phoenixes, so I'm rather befuddled as to why I can't use this feature. Thanks for any help. :-D

The feathers are good forever, they'll just sit in your inventory until used.

To use them, you need to have an adult phoenix in your Main tab, go to the Ashen Temple on the World map and follow the instructions. The feather will disappear from your inventory and the phoenix will transform into an Elder Phoenix.

Can this be ANY phoenix? As in Ice Phoenixes, or only the Fire ones? This is something I've been wondering about.
