so....how to you set an egg free? Or whatever its called.

Roughly six hours after you catch an egg a 'Release' option should appear next to the Name/Free options. Alternatively you can just freeze the egg without the wait :3

Used to be you could also freeze them and donate them to Master Belmos but I don't know if that's still a thing. I tried sending him some eggs recently and the trade still sits waiting for him. So maybe it's not any more...?

He's been less active recently, but you could wait, or alternatively send then to NurseryHelper.

Not to hijack the thread further but I had too many to do that with. I do a cleaning every now and again and see if I have too many dupe freezer babies. It happens. I don't think I have said species, freeze it, only to discover I have three others I didn't think I had. I try to only freeze one of each unless it's an egg pixel art I particularly love. Basically so I know what I'm looking at when something floats by.
Anyway, we've all answered and then some. I'm gonna disappear now.
