I can't find the thread now, but I clearly recall there being a load time issue dealing with items in your inventory. It had something to do with the code loading ALL of your creatures instead of just your Main tab. This got fixed and was very good.
What I'm wondering now is if that same problem is affecting other loading times. Primarily when opening Trades. Loading the 'new trades' page works fine, but when I click on an individual trade it can take several miniutes to open the trade.
These extra long load times also affect moving between tabs and trying to use the Embed Multiple function. Can anything be done to fix these?

Re: Loading time issue
I don't know if it is the same thing, but sometimes I will click on a critter and it appears the sites is trying to load the page, but it seems like everything is frozen. If I were to open a new tab and not just click, it seems to work better. If it does freeze, it will happen to any MS tab that I have open. I thought it was just my old computer, but now I have seen this happen on three different computers. I can try to explain better if I am not being clean enough.

Re: Loading time issue
Yep, that happens to me too.. sometimes when I go to a tab and click on a creature it takes forever to load. BUT if I open a tab, then open a creature from that tab in a new tab, the creature loads quickly.. then I can close the creature tab and go back to the tab it's in without any wait time. Until I go to change tabs and then it acts like it's in quicksand again.

Re: Loading time issue
I've been having loading time issues with trades all the time myself. I thought it was due to my browser not being kept up to date, but I've been keeping up with it and that's not really the case. My computer isn't the best but it shouldn't be this bad, and I'm not really sure what else I can do if anything on my end and I'm not sure what could be done on MS's end either.
The only thing I can think of...is there a way that trades could be opened and not load every tab? Maybe just load the main tab only and load up tabs once a person starts switching to a specific tab to look for creatures? Maybe this will decrease the load time? (or has this been done already?) *has no clue*

Re: Loading time issue
Just discovered that this is a Browser issue with Firefox.
Firefox did an automatic update this morning.. and then caused the Blue Screen of Death multiple times. Had to swap over to Internet Explorer to get back online.. which is NOT preferred.
Rosehill.. do you know how to undo an auto update? Or could you recommend a new browser that works better with MagiStream?

Re: Loading time issue
I have had that problem for about a year now.
Personally I would love an option to lock certian treads out of the trades or enbed multiple so they wont load in the trades at all.
I have about 10K in creatures I am not going to sell at all.

For those that have access to it, may I suggest Safari. I have used many browsers but out of all of them, the only browser that can withstand my 32,000 strong, keep is Safari. With Safari I can load the trade page and the embed multiple page without any trouble (at its worst it can be a teeeeeeeny bit slow).

Re: Loading time issue
I will consider a new browser when I can afford to buy a new computer. For now, I'm stuck on Windows XP.. and I can't even download Chrome or Safari because they no longer support XP. An older version of Firefox is now the ONLY browser that will work on my antique computer.
The really ironic thing is that I can't even get a better version of Internet Explorer, because Microsoft no longer supports XP either.

Re: Loading time issue
Not sure how related this problem is to the other, but it IS a load time issue, so I decided to just add to my original thread instead of making another one.
As you know, I have a hard time gold mining due to my antique computer, unsupported operating system and out-dated browser.. but due to my financial circumstances, I don't have the means to upgrage anything. That said, I'm wondering about something I noticed that shouldn't be happening.. or at least I don't think it should be happening.
I recently noticed while trying to goldmine that whenever snaplinks tries to open a page it seems to be trying to open sites that shouldn't be linked to magistream creature pages. The two most common links I see trying to load are..

1. I didn't think MS used ads? So why is snaplinks trying to open something from Googles ad service?
2. I have the social media buttons turned OFF in my user settings. So why is snaplinks trying to open Facebook?
2a. I also see the Facebook link when swapping between MS pages in general, but why is it happening when I have the social media things turned OFF?
