Auto explaining title, but for those who did not understand: Did you ever had an headache individually searching your armies or you extensive keep for the status of your creatures? For example, if they are streamborn, bred, inbred, checking the dates and etc? It's always a pain to manually check out this data for the proper sorting of my keep and I bet there's more members out there feeling the same as I.
Plus, I don't think it would be that hard to implement this feature for the keep.

Re: Suggestion: More creature sorting options
There's a nifty tool for that here: http://mscodes.netii.net/lineage/pedigree.php
Rosehill and Layna provided that. :3

I think you missed my point, Kitty.
I knew about this website for some time already but I was suggesting if the bred/not bred options would be avaiable at the sorting options for the creatures on the keep, as I said.
Checking a creature pedigree one by one, either by the site or not is surely a time consuming task. :c

Re: Suggestion: More creature sorting options
It would be equally time-consuming to code such a feature and test that it worked, regardless of what was being put into it. There's no fool-proof way that it could be coded since there would be a great many creatures involved over the span of many Keeps, both hidden in tabs and out in the open. It would also require that Tristan or one of the other admins look into everyone's Keeps to see if a specific creature was hidden or if it even existed anymore.
In short, that site is currently the easiest and safest means of sorting creatures.

Re: Suggestion: More creature sorting options
Well, for Tristan to code that, it would take time but it will happen only once, that is not out case.
I just thought coding this wouldn't take any big effort, but that being said...
Anyway, I guess the thread can be closed if necessary.

Re: Suggestion: More creature sorting options
As Tristan has the deepest knowledge of the site I think it's up to him to say if something is hard or easy or time-consuming or fast to code so I don't think any suggestion should be shot down by speculating how hard or complex it would be to code. (:
As for the sorting option for bred and non-bred creatures: People have asked that feature to be added to the mass move tool, and personally I'd love it, but it's currently unknown whether or not that kind of a thing will be implemented.
At the moment my preferred method for sorting out bred and parentless creatures in a tab is using Layna's user scripts: 8-community-discussion/91002-userscripts-for-ms.html or for smaller amounts of creatures my creature checker: http://mscodes.netii.net/checker.php Then for further checking of the generations and such I use the lineage tool linked previously.
