You know what might be nifty? You know how we have those colorful lightbulbs which stop a Spider Light from changing colors? I think it would be cool if we had some kind of items to use on the other color changing creatures we have, like the Abeoth Frogs, Aurora Whales, Mohrior, etc.

Sure, there might be the creature's lore to prevent it from being a thing or the fact that the Spider Lights aren't actual living creatures, but still. We have items to transform creatures from one thing to another. I don't see why Alethin or another NPC can't come up with a potion or find an item to stop Abeoth Frogs from changing colors. Maybe the items could render the creature unable to change it's color or it forgets how to?

And I mentioned the Mohriors, cause I'd love to own like pairs of each sprite, but I hate having unlineaged creatures be named.

Also another thought:

While I find the achievements to be a fun add-on to the site that people can do, I personally don't care for them. :/

Maybe if we got a small reward or had some incentive for doing them, (like access to a new shop or association, that you get for completing an achievement, instead of a quest?). I get the whole 'completion's sake' thing.. but since I'm definitely not a completionist, that doesn't make me want to take on the achievements.

I figure maybe access to a new shop/association as a reward for completing an achievement might make sense, since shops (aside from the Black Market) are always there. So you could take however long you need/want to finish said achievement and unlock the shop/association. It could be something fun, and different from the usual 'complete this quest to get this special shop.'

Creatures in hidden tabs should just not show the owner's name when someone finds their page, they shouldn't "not exist" entirely. Hidden tabs currently ruin any critter that's descended from a hidden one's pedigree and make it worth much less because you can't prove it's legitimacy.

No one would see it in your keep and no one would know it as more than a generic member of it's species with an unknown owner. This would make purchasing bred critters far less risky.

I love using bred creatures of all sorts as mates in my lineages but have to so careful to NOT use ones with hidden ancestors since you can't tell if they're inbred or related to the lineage in some way. And if a previously visible ancestor of a lineaged creature is then hidden away, it becomes very risky to breed the lineaged offspring.

There's a user who has posted several times about using a library after hours, using some 12+ computers to essentially click eggs 12+ times thus getting 12+ times the gold.

That's odd, because when I click from my desktop, then go to work and use my tablet, it still only registers 1 click from my account in an 8 hr period.

If there's a user bragging about cheating like that maybe you should be PMing a mod/admin about it like Morg.
Also, I'm pretty sure it IS tied to an account and not the IP, otherwise people with siblings who have accounts would have reported issues with not being able to get gold.

And I am almost just as sure it is IP/computer - back in late May I had grabbed some eggs while I was at home before I went to my daughter's to house sit. Got the usual "big" first click jump before I left out with the laptop. Didn't even think about it later on when I was getting online - was on a completely different ISP and when I clicked the eggs I'd gotten earlier once again I got the big first click jump again. Was only a couple of hours later and no one else had clicked so it had to have been the different IP seeing's how I only have one username/account/computer.

As for the 12+ clicks from a library - unless they are going around setting up proxy IP's on various computers it sounds like a load of BS to me. Libraries have one static IP where I am and far as I know they do not let people hang out to use computers after the library closes.

Not only that but how do you think sites catch multiple accounts? Sure isn't by usernames...easiest way to catch the fools is by their IP's and/or email addys. How do I know? Used to get hired to check for them - did it for almost 7 years...got rather good at catching them after a while.

On the bestiary pages for the creatures with rotating sprites would it be possible to put the times for the rotations/sprites? Like when or how often they chnae?
Like, 'this creature's sprite changes every 15 minutes' or 'this creature changes at 6am, noon, 6pm and midnight EST' because not every creature has the same rotating times for their sprites

Hey, I'm not sure if I've suggested this before, or if someone else has, but I think this site could really benefit from a chat box or something of that sort. It would be an easier, far quicker, and even a more fun way to communicate with other people on the site. Chat rooms could be created for individual groups or people to chat in, and there could be general chats, roleplay chats, game chats, but none of it would have to replace forum, or give players gold like the forum, it would just be a fun and convenient enhancement to the website.
