Small suggestion: I just noticed, Donation creatures get a Release date line posted on it's bestiary entry. Yet all other stream, shop, breeding or event creature's don't have a release date included.

I know it's silly but I'd like the release dates included because when a player take a hiatus and returns, they could see not only the new creatures on the bestiary but the date, month and year of those creatures they missed. Also for the sake of continuity.

Every creature ever since the Creature Release News thread was made has a release date listed in the bestiary. Information about older creatures' release dates is listed for some. Release date information is added periodically for those creatures still missing the info, as that info is not methodically recorded and needs to be fished out by other means thus taking longer. (:

If not being able to protect your keep is an issue; because of selecting eggs from the stream and having them be selected -- perhaps having the ability to designate a tab that your trades will fall into when you accept them. So that hatchlings that have been posted in click threads don't have the chance of being clicked before you have the chance to protect them.

I know we have a wishlist's topic for Christmas every year on MS but what if we did secret santa? Like everybody that signs up gets a person that they can gift critters to, and get critters gifted in return -- ect ect. I think a lot of times with wishlists it's more random strangers (which can be fun) or people's friend's gifting. This way you get a connection with a player that you may not have known before. Gifts would be sent on Christmas Eve in a trade, ect. There would have to be a master list of players that signed up and who they were assigned to, to make sure that everyone does actually gift. People that don't gift would be banned from signing up next year. And those that don't get gifted could be gifted from a volunteer pool. Just an idea; I don't know if people would be interested in it or not, but it sounds fun to me and I wouldn't mind helping set up such a list if it was something we were allowed to do.

Suggestions:

1: A way to show you on the World map what areas you have active/possible quests in. Maybe the little diamond turns blue, has a pin in it, or is circled, with different colors to let you know if it's a story quest, an event/seasonal quest, or a daily quest. Maybe it could show up differently depending on if you could do it now, or if there's an open quest but you have to wait another day, or if it's a quest that you don't have the items to fulfill. There are too many little dots otherwise, especially for newer players. I know after I came back I had to click all the dots to check for things to do, and I'm still not 100% sure I didn't miss something somewhere. Plus, it'd be nice if the map showed you, A, where that daily quest you want to do is, and B, when said quest is ready to do.

2: Make it possible for users to catch released eggs/hatchies. Have them show up as baskets floating down the stream, different sizes for eggs and hatchlings, and let people catch them. You catch the basket, you find out what's inside. Or, heck, just a plain 'ol "abandoned" page like other sites have.

3: Occasional wild hatchlings in the stream. Maybe 1 in every 30 of a creature appears as a hatchie instead of an egg. Something lore-wise about magi sometimes hatching creatures, instead of just placing the eggs in the stream, and putting the creatures in little boats for other people to catch. That way, people can still hunt the stream when they're egglocked, they might get lucky and grab a hatchie. I'm not sure how this would work out percent-wise, maybe every hatchie would start out at 0% progression for that stage?

I'm not sure if this has been suggested before, or if it already exists and I just haven't found it yet, but would we be able to start a forum in the Merchant District for breeding exclusively? Instead of having to sift through countless profiles, posts, and signatures in LTB and LTS topics to find out who is wanting to breed creatures, and who is willing to, it would be nice and efficient to simply have a forum where users who are breeders or those who are looking to breed animals can post.

I would love to see a small change in the protected tabs.

Instead of showing them normally and just not registering the clicks, it might be usefull to see a 'stasis' infront of the creature. Like how frozens have frozen before their name.
This will allow the image free nursery and eggsitter codes to clean these creatures out.

I know it might seem like a useless thing, but it takes a lot of time to manually check each egg and hatchling if it is in a protected tab or not. I like helping other people with bringing their codes to the click treads, but of each 200 codes I take with me, I need to remove 20 to 40 hatchlings because they are in protected tabs and their owners never bothered to remove them from the nursery.

It will also allow buyers to quickly check is the hatcling they want to buy is protected or not without having to find the critter in one of many tabs of the seller.



On another note it might be nice to have a mini christmas quest next to the normal gift giving.
People can star the quest which revolves around spreading love and joy.
They get to choose to give up a live hatchling or egg of their choice by pasting the id number in a box.
They will get a confermation screen with the creature and link to the tab it was in.
The player can then add a note or maybe even one item from their inventory. The creature, and item gift, get removed.
At christmas time the quest finishes and those that gave up a creature will be given options of wrapped presents under a tree.
Kinda like the stream with the eggs, but presents this time.
Picking a present will give them the creature, possible item and note someone else gave in the first stage of the quest.

Everybody can give 1 present and pick a present.

True and I know of this one.
Sadly it only weeds out the ones that are frozen, in a trade or in hidden tabs.
But I am talking about the ones in the protected tabs.
These are impossible to weed out with that coding system.
