Re: Faster Stream
Why? There's no reason to make the stream go faster just because you gets bored by it.

Re: Faster Stream
Because if the stream scrolls through the same bunch of eggs until someone picks up one, I feel like it would be a tiny less bothersome to camp at the MagiStream homepage for eggs you want

Re: Faster Stream
Making the stream go faster will not have any function at all, it wouldn't improve the site.
The stream don't scroll through the same eggs until someone picks 'em up, the stream refresh ítself every 15 minutes at :00, :15, :30 and :45. You could always just try checking the stream every 15 minutes instead of camping for hours and see if there's any eggs you want since the chance of getting some of the more desired eggs seem greater when the stream refresh. I usually get some of the more desired eggs when the stream refreshes itself.

If you get bored looking at the same eggs why don't you stream clean and send them to Belmos?Ellie4740 wrote:Because if the stream scrolls through the same bunch of eggs until someone picks up one, I feel like it would be a tiny less bothersome to camp at the MagiStream homepage for eggs you want
Not only that but making the stream go faster would make it harder for those with slower internet connections to get the eggs they want.

Re: Faster Stream
Stream cleaning really doesn't work. Unless it's changed since I last read about it, the algorithms which dictate which eggs appear in the stream will adjust for what people are taking. The more taken of a creature, the more the creature appears in the stream.
On the original topic: some says, when my connection is good, the stream is already so fast I can't always identify the eggs. Speeding it up further wouldn't serve any purpose. Go do oething elsr for a while, ifteen minutes or so, and then check back. Chances are good there will be different creatures in the steam. You could also try different hours of the day. I have made some excellent catches later at night afterthe youngsters head to bed.

But then, if you take one of many different creatures, you have a good chance of evening it out. I think. Or I'm just dumb.TxCat wrote:Stream cleaning really doesn't work. Speeding up the Stream wouldn't do any good, as the others have said. But maybe there could be :10 :12 :30 etc. intervals instead of :15 :30 :45 ? I don't really care, I don't stream-hunt.

Re: Faster Stream
I don't want the stream itseld to speed up, but I would like to see the refresh times adjusted.
Most of the time it seems like all the good eggs are gone within 1 or 2 mins of the refresh.. then you have to wait out the rest of the 15 mins with the same set of eggs going by over and over and over again.
This is especially annoying during a new release.. the new eggs are gone so fast that by the time you get the message that you missed the egg and go back, all the new eggs are gone.
So I'd love to see the refresh times changed to every 5 mins... or at least every 10 mins.. especially during a new release.
