I've been on magistream for about a month, and I have not experienced the give button(sure, laugh at me).
So could someone please describe this for me? Do you get more than 4 eggs?

Basically, when it starts working you will be able to gift live eggs to people. And in turn, receive live eggs from others (though if I remember correctly, you don't get them as people send them.. they'll accumulate until the end of the event or you get a certain number of eggs)

I was told it is MS aniversry. So that is why the give button is there. It will probably be gone shortly.

The give button also appears on holidays. Christmas, the aniversry, etc.

You can get up to 20 eggs and give an unlimited number of eggs.
It appears on holidays like christmas and MS anniversary.
I'm not sure when it will be gone but soon.
You're not stupid because you haven't seen it I've only seen it twice. On christmas and today. It is in the same place as the name, release, and freeze buttons. Only applies to eggs.

Well for yesterday experience the button was supposed to be able working. But since the button wasn't working Tristan had to fix the button. As for yesterday the give button was supposed to be working for everyone but it didn't work for the users. They had to wait until Tristan had to come on. Since Tristan came on at 10:00pm late that night he was fixing the button and when he was done fixing it everyone could by then gift people the eggs. You cannot gift creatures that are frozen, hatchling, and adults. Only unfrozen eggs were allowed in gifting. So, if the egg is frozen the egg would be worthless so now the egg has to be unfrozen. As Soleil said "in turn, receive live eggs from others (though if I remember correctly, you don't get them as people send them.. they'll accumulate until the end of the event or you get a certain number of eggs)" that is correctly stated, you get eggs in return after the event is over. You are able to have the 4 eggs currently but, then after the event you'll have a certain amount of them. You could have 20/21/22/23/24 eggs in your keep. Once you've hatched them you cannot get more than 4 eggs that time. The only way you can get more egg slots is when you have a special event that is happening like we had a Christmas Holiday and we got presents and we opened them. Once you've opened them you'll get eggs and then you hatch them. After your again back to the normal egg slots. So its only on special events.

So if it says for example: You have 7 presents but you cant open them yet. Does that mean I have to use the give action to open them? (Because the give action is on my hell hound egg and I don't want to give it away )

The give action will give the egg to someone else, so if you want to keep your egg, don't use it.

To open your presents, you will have to wait a few days yet.

No. You can't open any presents until after the gifting is open, which I don't know when that will be but people will say something about it in the CD.

The give action button is just that. It gives that egg to someone else.

The limit has been raised from 20 to 25 now.
