As for the 'old man willow'. Only Tolkien's specific iteration of him is copyrighted. Just like no one person has exclusive rights to the concept of 'dragon'. Old Man Willow is a very old concept indeed.

I thought of a.......wait for it.....drum roll.....dum dum dum dddummm..... a CHIMEATICORE!!! Manticore x Chimera, I really don't know what it would look like though!

No, I don't think so. We need a Manticore just to breed the Chimera in the first place - I just don't think it would work.

I was also thinking about, a golden wolf with silver spots!

But how whould a manticore-chimera hybrid be, well, bad, I mean we can breed ibexs andchimers, and sometimes come out with a chimera!

My little sister invented this dragon, which she calls a Rainbow Mood Dragon. We are trying to come up with a better name for it, but we haven't been very lucky yet. I decided to sketch it, and here it is. The colors should be more vivid, but I couldn't scan it properly, so it looks dull.


The description for the egg could be as follows:

A sparkling bluish red egg with a glossy surface.
Rainbow Mood Dragons are a small breed, who grow to be the size of a large dog. They are very rare, because they are hunted for their beautiful scales which are used in jewelry, especially mood rings. These dragons can change color as their mood changes, or to blend in with their environment. They are capable of staring at an object for hours on end, and have an amazing memory. This trait can be very helpful to their magi companions in remembering spells. Otherwise, they do not have many magical abilities except for curing illness. Their wings are not like those of other dragons as they are made of glistening feathers which change color along with the dragon's scales.

Description for hatchling:
You sit quietly beside your newborn hatchling, watching it as it sits motionless in the grass by your side. It has found a small flower, and is examining it closely. You watch the sunlight playing on the sparkling scales and feathers of your new friend. At last you get tired of waiting for it, and pick it up as you walk slowly back to the Keep.
There are many queer creatures in the Raza Jungle. But the Rainbow Mood Dragon is certainly one of the queerest. It is very skinny, though it eats as much as any ordinary dragon. Its diet consists not only of meat, but also of fruit and insects. It is not liked by others of its kind, and most breeds of dragons stay away from it, on account of its feathered wings. It is very friendly, but can be dangerous. It has very sharp, dark blue
claws and spikes with silver sparkles on them. It makes its home in forest caves, and these are usually full of goldstones, its favorite gem.

Adult Description:
Your little hatchling has grown into a strong, though small dragon. It wags its tail at you, not unlike a dog, as you approach it. You are trying to remember a spell, but it keeps slipping your mind. Your dragon companion smiles, showing long, fierce teeth, and reminds you of the words. You thank it happily and watch it soar away from the Keep as it goes to hunt. Its huge feathered wings glisten in the sun.
Rainbow Mood Dragons have amazing memories. They are greatly desired by many Magi masters, but are hard to find, for they live in the thickest, remotest parts of the forests they love.They mostly live in the Jungle of Raza and they love to be close to lakes, often seen by the shores of lake Lakira They are slightly clumsy, but they can sit without the ghost of a movement for hours and hours, staring at some object. As their mood changes, so does their color, and they are very rare because jewelers use their scales and feathers in expensive jewelry.

Please tell me what you think of this breed, or if you would alter anything. My little sister has really set her heart on this breed.

it's a creature that comes from the earth, it's molting lava, with mountains and trees on it's back, it's eyes glow with the fire of the core of earth. It's about 25 foot tall can put a dragon to shame. Being a special summoned creature the magic used to call forth a creature like this would considerably drain magic. Only high ranking magi can summon a creature like this.

The more it happens, the more I'd love to see a "Lag" monster.

On the internet, it's normally shown as a slimy creature who has no particular shape. Then make it only available for X hours after Magistream Crashes, and then comes back up.

What about a chetahh with barn owl wings, great horned owl wings, or a shavvanan cheetah with snowy owl wings.
