So I was thinking a pyropotamus, it has flames bursting out of the top of it's head and is a tiny bit smaller than a hippo. Either it's back sort of spits out fire or it gushes lava.

Anyway it's made, with a name like that it has to bee cool.

I liked this Idea! Maybe adding some details. Name could be 'Callisto Gharial' or 'Lakiran Gharial'!

An Okapi Idea:

Maybe an Okapi? But not only okapi. Also, Okapra, the mix of Okapi with the Ibex.

I though on a Seahorse (not an Hippocampus). A common seahorse with bat wings and dragon or koi whiskers. Maybe with that frilled dragon ears and runes or other symbols over it's body. These symbols glowing in a light cyan over its dark colored body. With mystic and mysterious eyes... that could hypnotise enemies. They live in the deep sea and come to surface at night to catch preys on the depths of the Jungle of Raza (where Magis don't go), flying over the trees.

It was a myth for hundreds of years until a magi finds their nest while searching for adremeri and takes some of their eggs. It could be a theme for a quest.

It could be called 'Rune Kuda', or 'Glyphed Kuda', 'Glyph Kuda'. Kuda is because of the Scientific name of the Common Seahorse, Hippocampus kuda. And I liked the name Kuda.
