This egg is surprisingly light for its size
You thought it was an egg, but the sprout proved otherwise. You decide bring it to the greenhouse to study, since you've never seen a plant like this before.
Probably something about how you hope it will turn into a houseplant or a small, flowering bush. Even at this stage, the seedling gives off a calming scent and has little nubs that will one day become thorns. The roots seem to be a little grabby, and will (eventually) latch on to any magic object that is left too close to it. There's a debate as to whether or not the tree is sentient.
Well, it's a tree. A very large tree, with sharp thorns and bright flowers that give off a sweet, calming aroma. You visit your tree frequently, and for some reason you always seem to fall asleep under it.
Meet the best study buddy ever. Treebro wants to help you succeed and will attempt to send aid in dreams via ancient magic that it draws from the location. Unfortunately, the magic in the area might not help solve your problem because it's just a record of the kind of magic that went on around the tree/location the tree was planted, and also because the dreams are kinda vague... and also because it's a tree and it has no idea what might help you. It still tries to cling to magical objects, and its calming scent only seems to work for its magi and few others... Probably from Taggelisk or somethingSpoiler
This certainly looks like a seed... But maybe you should keep it, just in case
You were right, it was a seed indeed. You've had it in a pot on your desk for a few days now, and there is an astounding lack of insects in your room Yo man, what about sentient pitcher plants? The seedling/baby plant doesn't look like much, but it eats a lot and will grab onto your hand if you leave it by the pot for long enough. Sometimes it will use its tendrils/roots/leaves/stems to take objects its magi has used recently and put them in its pitcher. Unfortunately, this tends to ruin the object thanks to the plant's strong acids and the fact that it doesn't have control over its magic yet.
Unfortunately, your plant has outgrown your desk. It now sits in the greenhouse, eating the insects and tiny birds and rodents that are unfortunate enough to fall into its pitchers. Now full grown and really, really big, your pitcher plant has several pitchers and is very excited to see you whenever you visit it. It still tries to take objects from you, but instead of digesting them it will store the item securely in its acids. The plants can be used as a secure system of storage for important items and artifacts due to the fact that the plant will only digest what it wants to digest, and can use its lightning-fast (for a plant, at least), whiplike tendrils to fend off any possible thieves. It is recommended that magi spend some time training their plant to not attack anyone who approaches it while it holds an item in its pitchers. Probably from Raza or Ixan/the southern jungle area

In the mythical creatures section, I believe both the three-legged crow and thunderbird exist on the site.
I leave and come back to this website very sporadically, but also TEAM PUVIA until the day I die

Re: Official Creature Suggestion Thread
I have a gryphon...of sorts (I know it's against the rules, I am a rebel, HA, not really, you will see)
half bird wrassle https://avsnca.files.wordpress.com/2014 ... rasse.jpeg
half lionfish http://www.groupersandwich.com/news/wp- ... nfish1.jpg
I call it: The Sea Gryphon, bask in it's Hypothetical wonder!
Just to be clear, it's not an actual gryphon, for the same reason seahorses aren't actual horses, just a fish joke from someone who loves the aquarium hobby
I might draw it, might not, Probably not, it won't be good, I've never drawn a fish before (let-alone a hybrid fish), and I've got a hundred other things I need to draw first

Re: Official Creature Suggestion Thread
Something lizard like (More lizards)
Examples!
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Galapagos_land_iguana (Just a suggestion that isnt important since i just noticed it looks like the iguana already on here...)
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ptychozoon (One of the most unique geckos on earth)
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Desert_iguana (Something that looks nothing like and iguana)
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chlamydosaurus (Frilled Dragon/Lizard)
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Marine_iguana (A unique lizard )
a large list would be happy to see any of em become a actual creature.
