How about a puff ball? Like these fluffy little balls maybe with arms or legs and have faces and can come in different genders.

I didn't see it on the already suggested animals, but if it was and I missed it, I apologize.

What about a Birman cat?
There was a myth about how they came to be and how they were sacred cats.

A roadrunner gryphon? It has the front body of a roadrunner bird and the back body of a cheetah. So it's super fast! :evil: I just made it up. :P

Don't think so. Also, if you had that and an anagui, you could breed them to get a mososaur.
The Curiosity Mars Rover landed on Mars by going on a massive skydive from orbit, before using a jetpack-powered robot to slow its fall and rappling down from it on a rope before tearing off at 150 yards per hour. Your argument is invalid.
