Has anyone thought of a fireworks peacock before? Like, there would be different color variations, and along with striking plumage, the males actually produce lovely fireworks displays when they unfurl their tail-feathers.
I'm trying to think of something the females could do. Maybe the little, feather 'crowns' on their

As I was thinking, maybe the feather crowns on their heads could also produce lovely sparks, or maybe their wings light up.

We've got arkai, which are firework-birds. New variant shows up every New Year's.

We also have peafowl phoenix donis, so I think the firework peacock would be seen as too similar

I can't believe no one's suggested Wiwaxia yet. I mean, it's a weird pinecone slug with spikes. And weird is just another word for cool. (sometimes.)

Take a look at some of the nudibranch suggestions. Yeah, the sea bunny gets the most excitement for being adorable, but sea slugs of all sorts are weird and awesome.
