Depends, what do you need help doing?
You can collect free eggs from the stream(by clicking the big banner above that says 'Magistream'), if you click 'World' you can explore various places and do quests(some of which award creatures).
You earn gold by clicking creatures and posting, which you can use to buy creatures from the shops(under the 'shops' link) or from other users.
The forums are, well chatting. With different subsections for different things.
The FAQ can help you more if you need it.
