I'm reading World Without End.
It's pretty amazing that at one time people didn't know that being near a sick person could make you get their sickness. It's also crazy how much you can learn about the middle ages from books, that you don't get from history classes (and I took 4 medieval history classes).

Retribution Falls and The Black Lung Captain by Chris Wooding. They're pretty fast reads, but really enjoyable none the less!
