I have two sweet kitter beans, so cats I suppose! My grandma has a cocker spaniel, but he’s quite a lot to handle and wears me out ewe

CAT! I'm happy that on here there are more Cat people 
Out in the real world when I say I like Cats people stare at me like some sort of alien. I live in a household with 1 dog and 3 cats. Only one of the cats is mine but he is my baby

I have always owned both (as well as a menagerie of other critters) but one of my current dogs is a cat killer so I can no longer have inside cats. I sort of have a semi-feral garden cat who is streetwise enough to avoid my dog and she gets to stay around for that reason. I feed her and she kills pests and as long as she avoids the dogs, she is welcome. She sometimes lets me pet her but I wouldn't call her a pet.
I'm definitely more of a dog person though. I like both but I could survive never owning cats again. I don't think I could survive without dogs.
