Neither/Both ^^. I was raised having all kinds of pets. We've always had at least one pet cat my whole life but we've also had dogs, birds, fish, and lizards. One of my family members used to raise Tennessee Walking Horses so I've been around horses a lot too.
I love all animals, especially the mammalian kind (except monkeys/apes... they smell worse than cattle and can carry diseases humans can catch from them).

I used to be a huge doggo person but as I get older and started to live by myself I became a kitty person. I still luuuv dogs but now I know I'm too lazy to go outside to walk a dog

I'm allergic to cats and have three dogs, a shih tzu mix, a German Shepherd, and a Siberian Husky.

To own I pick cats.

I love both. My sister in law is a dog walker and I help when needed. Most of those dogs are sweethearts, though with some there are occasions I want to strangle a few of them. Like when they decide they keep barking non-stop or start hunting the wild-life.

All of them are sweeter than my cat who asks for attention, curls up purring and suddenly attacks.

The biggest reason I prefer to own cats is I don't have to walk them several times a day and dog poop stinks more than the litter box.

BOTH! I love both equally... Sadly, I can't own a dog or a cat right now... But I WILL in the future... It's actually one of my many goals in life...

I mean, how can you pick between the both of them?? Dogs are so cuddly and loyal, and cats are so smart and cute! They each have their differences and are so cute in so many ways. I can't pick which one is better... It's like choosing to either cut off both of my legs or my arms... It's just impossible to pick!

For me cats all the way.
Why? Because I am too lazy to walking the dog, especially at morning... I am the type "getting up ten minutes before I have to go" and if I have a free day, why to get up before noon? , so I don't want a dog in my apartment.
Every dog deserves to have an owner who would be happy to walk it, not the owner who would walk the dog just because he has to.
So no dog for me, please :-)
