Re: Half Instincts ~ Final City OoC
I keep meaning to watch a play-through...
I started watching Pewdiepie's walkthrough a while back, but I stopped for one reason or another.
A game I NEED to play is Last of Us.
I love that game, I love the concept, the world, the environment, the themes, the characters, the music... everything!
ohno now I want to start an RP on it hahahaaaaaaa *flies off into the sun*

This music alone gives me feels... I just.... *sniff*

Re: Half Instincts ~ Final City OoC
Tobygames does a good Walking Dead playthrough. I know my sister said she stopped watching pewdie's because he kept being really inappropriate. The problem with Toby is he has some obvious memory and one-track-mind problems, is easily distracted from goal, gets stuck easily, and forgets side quest type goals, which is frustrating, but I think MOST of the choices he made in the game were good ones.
Last of Us also looks totally awesome! I wanna see that one too! I started watching, but the person playing it hadn't uploaded another video of it so I had to stop until they did but then I forgot about it.
The graphics and story are excellent, and they certainly have a new take on zombies, but even if they're both zombie games with a little girl, Last of Us and Walking Dead seem very different. LoU is hyper realistic in graphics, while WD has a comic-book style. LoU is focused on plot, and settings, and maybe the current world lore, while WD is heavily focused on characters and decisions. I'd say they're both worth watching! ^^
So! How is everybody?

Re: Half Instincts ~ Final City OoC
I watched Pewdiepie's play though of Last of Us
He talks too much usually- but he respected the game enough to keep quiet in parts.
If I were to recommend a play through channel, I would recommend Cryaotic. His voice is... mmmm it's really nice. He keeps quiet during the cut scene too. his videos are roughly half hour though and he /does/ swear but not too often or when you would expect someone too- like when they die or fail to complete a task, get stuck or a character insults the player ect..
I just saw the Hobbit: Desolation of Smaug!
ahhhhhh
it was so awesome!
I absolutely LOVED the animation on Smaug. It was just so smooth and flowing and he felt so alive and intimidating!
I would have loved some scenes to be longer, and others to be shorter, but I'm not complaining uwu
I'm fine- both my RPs are doing fairly well, but I fear that I have a few drop-outs already in both, but four is enough to RP with, believe me.

I've heard of Cry, I've meant to check him out...
Benedict Comberbatch not only voiced Smaug, but he did the motion capture too! Even the facial expressions were translated from his face to the model by their program. I saw a video of him doing the motion capture... Oh man he did amazing... AND THE VOICE WAS PERFECT!! X3 I haven't seen the movie yet, but I intend to.

Yes- I had my doubts (I'm not a fan of Cumberbatch (or as I called him Cabbage Patch)) but I thought he acted and very well and captured Smaug's essence uwu
Cry also does reading things too, but- sometimes with his voice... e tends to lull me into sleepyness... It's not that he's boring... he just has one of those voices that kind of make you comfortable.

I'm not a BIG fan of 'Mr. Cabbage Patch' (lol) but I'm coming to like him. He did Sherlock and Smaug both excellently.
Heh, Cry sounds cute,...

Re: Half Instincts ~ Final City OoC
I just posted, so not me...I think...I'm pretty sure I did...
*coughs* I really like Benedict Cumberbatch, but I became a fan not because he was popular, but because I happened to catch a single episode of Sherlock. And then I heard he was going to voice Smaug, and I was doubtful (and the Necromancer! Oh hallelujah!), and I was SO doubtful. But then I saw it in theaters, and at that point, I decided he was pretty good. Star Trek 2 also made me just love his voice and facial control. I mean...he can be totally calm, then suddenly lash out. I've done stage acting, and that can really hard to do even when not being filmed. And he's pretty cool as a guy as well, so I not only like his acting, but his actual character as a man. He has several good quotes about books and reading that made me seriously look him up as a man.
Doesn't mean I can't appreciate the hilarity of people messing up his name though.
I'm doing alright...another 19 days of school, then my AP World History test is done, and I get to spend the next two or three weeks chilling in first period (7:30-8:20am...sleep, maybe? that's what the teacher said he's gonna do...).

He seems to be a good actor, I guess it's just most of the fans of him I don't like- you know, those obsessive fans and stuff- the SuperWhoLock ones..
