Guess I haven't seen any poems up, but that's all I can really write. Thought I'd give it a try and see if anyone was interested in reading my poetry. I'll probably continue to post poems on this topic. Comments and critiques are welcome.



Hopefully someone enjoys it.

Guess no one seems to be interested in reading my poems, but here's another anyways.

A valiant duel, an epic fight
Which rages on throughout the night
Parry, cut, cross, and thrust
And both believe their cause is just.

But who is right and who is wrong?
For still the fight drags on and on
And still this question presses hard
Who will play the final card?

Then both drop back and fall apart
They both have a merry heart
And to the ground they let fall
The swords with which they fought it all

But what is this? No swords are these
No more than they are honeybees!
Nothing more than foam are they
Pool noodles taken to the fray.

I'd love to. I honestly didn't think anyone was going to read these. Maybe I will post some more after all.

Here's another one, just in case and because it makes me feel better.

When your whole world is falling down
and you can't even make a sound
When skies have gone from blue to grey
and no one knows quite what to say
When fears abound and hope is small
lift your chin up and just stand tall.

Though storms will come to on earth
God sent his son through mortal birth
To reach a broken world in need
and all those weeping on their knees.
He knew the path would lead through pain
but through it, reach eternal gain.

So Jesus came and conqured all
and beat the shame of Adam's fall.
He was tried and tempted, tested
overcame and Satan, bested.
We'll never walk the path alone
for Jesus left his heav'nly throne.
