I don't think there is a limit. I mean, I think Master Belmos has near to 100 million gold(Morgaln or another mod can correct me, it was near that number last I heard anyways) so I suspect there really isn't any limit(or it's something insanely high like into the billions).

Hello!

Thank you for the FAQs. I would like to ask a question about the bit about 'mining'. The way that it's worded seems to imply that this is slightly off behaviour, but I've been clicking all the eggs and hatchlings in signatures or Keeps because it seemed the right thing to do. (How could I choose who gets clicked and who doesn't?) Should I be more selective and only click a couple at a time?

Sorry to sound dense, but sometimes there's accepted practice that the newbies don't get.

It refers to using the image-free goldmines, which have hundreds of creatures in them. It takes time, and quite frankly some people's computers cannot handle the load, but requires very little effort on the part of the miner, unless you count the time they cannot do anything else. Also, keep mining is frowned upon-some people keep unfrozen hatchlings, and do not wish for them to be clicked. Anything in the click threads if encouraged, though.

If you're clicking on eggs in a keep, you click on the area that says 'unnamed' (or whatever name someone has given the creature, rather than the image.

I think it may be a bit more than this - I've also been clicking on my eggs/hatchies and the percentages are not moving. I can't see any comment about this anywhere else.
